Samurai Sam Club in Dereham & Norwich & Swaffham is open to 4-7yr old for children from all walks of life. The club aims to teach children Karate basics through play and social interaction. Instructors hold enhanced CRB check and are fully qualified. Karate lessons can be a very intimidating arena for the strongest willed persons, let alone a young child. The lessons will encorporate other children of there age group (4-7yrs). There will be matted areas to train on and safety equipment will be used at all times.Your childs welfare is paramount. Your child will be able to achieve there first belts in karate through this class in preparation for the big class. In addition children will be awarded Certificates of Achievement for Attendance/Etiquette/Attitude/Respect/Leadership/ Technique. Samurai Sam Club works closely with Parents & Teachers using the Merit Badge and Life Skills Award System. This method has proven to keep children enthused with learning martial arts & improve their atitude to all areas of their life. Rewards and improvement is recognised every lesson with the Merit Badge Reward System. At School, in Play and in Sport children learn to discipline themselves and become role models as they mature. Children who are 7yrs old can choose either Samurai Club or the Beginners Class which is mixed age groups. This will enable your child to choose which class they prefer and enjoy the most whilst making the transitional stage to the Beginners Class. However, Samurai Sam Karate Suits are only to be worn during Samurai Sam Club lessons. Children who attend other TSKR Classes must wear only the plain white suits in keeping with traditional Karate Training.
