I'd just like to echo Sensei's statement.

You all worked hard today and were very patient, especially Mario and Jeremy as you had to wait so long. Perhaps next time you'd like to do the Kata too? That would fill your day more. The most impressive thing to me was the fact that for most of you, this was your first time at a competition let alone competing. So feel very proud at your achievements even if you didn't come away with any medals etc. Remember, its all about the taking part. I'm hopefull that other TSKR members would like to join in next time. Remember I'm always available to answer any questions.

Again, well done to you all!

Oss!

I must also point out that you will be required to purchase your own regulation sparring mitts and gum sheild as these are very much needed to compete. View the merchandise page for the mitts. £15 a pair...

Hello TSKR members

Some of you may have heard me mention EKKA competitions in class. I was once a licensed member of EKKA and a referee. EKKA is based in Ipswich and is the closest venue for competition to us. I think it would be a good starting place for anyone that’s interested in competition. There is a competition coming up very, very soon and I would suggest that anyone who is serious about competition, come and see me in class. From there we can make arrangements to get you entered or if you prefer, travel down to watch so as you can see what you’ll be letting yourself in for. Of course you could reply to this thread also with any questions etc, I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.

OSS!
