Karate can enhance a childs life through correct tuition, not only physically & mentally. Every Child Matters is the government initiative to help improve childrens lifes whatever background they have. The five outcomes that Karate relate to the governments "Every Child Matters"

ECONOMIC WELLBEING

Through the years of Karate training, children have excelled in other areas. It can improve confidence, attitude. Some students have gone on to be professional footballers and Para-Olympian Swimmers. Children learn the importance of study to help them achieve.

STAY SAFE

Karate classes can be dangerous if they are not organised correctly and under professional guidance of a senior Black belt. Your Instructor is Qualified in working with children and young people in all areas. First Aid trained, Enhanced CRB Check for all Instructors and Adult Volunteers.

Children are supervised at all times.

Children learn how to avoid dangerous situations rather than trying to deal with an attacker.

MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION

Children are encouraged to lead by example. Some children move on to be Junior Assistants in the Kids classes.

They are also asked to use the traditional side of karate in there every day lifes, which is to help others to help themselves. Making benevolence a prime area in there lifes.

ENJOY & ACHIEVE

Each child is encouraged to enjoy there training, to have fun whilst learning. Through our grading system kids can gain there first belts in Karate. These belts are fully recognised by the National Governing Body in the UK.

Kids can also have the chance to be awarded a trophy every 3 months for the student that puts in the most effort.

BE HEALTHY

All lessons are structured with correct warm up and warm downs. Children are encouraged to try new techniques but nothing above there capabilities.

Advice is given how to eat properly in order to help there training in Karate.
